Worship is a huge part of what makes Voice of the Apostles such a great event. Here at Global Awakening, we’re passionate about encountering God in worship, and VOA is evidence of that. This is an amazing opportunity to join together with thousands of other believers, joining together in a raw, authentic, Holy Spirit-filled mixture of Heaven and earth.
With multiple worship leaders and worship bands, you’ll get to experience multiple expressions of the Body of Christ throughout the event. Read below for our worship leader bios.

David Leach is currently one of the worship leaders of Life Center Ministries International in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He is involved in all areas of worship throughout the ministry from small groups, next generation ministries, as well as recording projects. In the last year David has been traveling with Randy Clark and leading worship both internationally and nationally. His wife's and his desire is to see a generation passionately and authentically pursuing God in every area of arts and entertainment.
David grew up playing music in the church from a young age and began leading worship as a teenager. After going on to further his education in Business at Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh he returned home and became a part of Life Center's staff in 2009. Besides being one of the key worship leaders of the church along side Ricardo White, Senior Worship Pastor, David has been very involved within a community of over 100 musicians (in a congregation made up of 1,200 people) while working with several bands and many genres of music for weekly meetings, concerts, and conferences. Recently he has travelled to Sweden, England, Australia, New Zealand, and various parts of the United States.
David has lead worship in front hundreds and thousands. On the mission field, in conferences, or during weekly church services, David has a desire to bring people into the presence of God where the Father's heart is revealed, lives are changed, and generations move towards the face of God. Together, through a community of musicians David and Life Center's heart is to establish a regional worship base in Harrisburg and send out worship leaders as "musicianaries" in different countries to usher in the presence of God all around the world.
For Martin Smith, endings aren’t all they seem. In 2009 he came to the closing stages of a two-decade career spent holding the microphone and cheering on the crowds with the genre-defining band Delirious? With Dove awards, Grammy nominations and RIAA certified gold selling status behind him, it was an incredible journey.
Having written many of the church’s best-loved songs – including I Could Sing of Your Love Forever, Shout to the North and Did You Feel The Mountains Tremble? – Martin remains rooted in the local church. And having pulled together many of the world’s leading worship leaders to give their time and talent for free with the CompassionArt charity project, Martin instinctively calls out for people to become a 'voice' for those who do not have a voice.
Today, what lies ahead is bold, fresh and exciting. Like we said: endings aren't all they seem.
